Industrialisation and production

Fibox’s Industrialization and Manufacturing Expertise.

Fibox production-11

From Prototype to Production

At Fibox, we understand that getting a prototype approved is just the beginning. The real challenge and opportunity lies in scaling that design into a reliable, repeatable, and high-quality production process. That’s where our industrialization and production services come in.

Planning for Production: From Design to Delivery

We begin every production ramp-up with a comprehensive implementation plan that aligns your product requirements with our manufacturing expertise and production capabilities. By establishing clear processes early, we ensure a controlled, efficient, and scalable transition into full production.

Our ramp-up planning includes:

  • Capacity planning and resource allocation

  • Timeline and milestone definition

  • Risk assessment and mitigation

This structured approach minimizes delays, and ensures a smooth transition from prototype validation to reliable mass production

Equipment and Capacity: Built for injection molding

Fibox operates a fleet of advanced injection molding machines optimized for engineered plastics. By carefully matching machine size, clamping force, and automation level to the complexity and production volume of each component, we ensure optimal manufacturing efficiency and precision.
With extensive expertise in plastic enclosure manufacturing, Fibox can efficiently scale production while maintaining the strict quality standards required for demanding industrial applications.

FOT and PPAP: Validating Every Detail

FOT (First-Off Tooling): The first molded parts from the production tool are evaluated for dimensional accuracy and functionality. These are not final parts, but tests to check parts are meeting the requirements. Final aesthetical look will be later applied once the part meets dimensional accuracy and functionality

PPAP (Production Part Approval Process): A formal validation process used in automotive and regulated industries to ensure parts meet all specifications before mass production.

These steps ensure that your parts are production-ready and compliant with industry standards.

Mass Production: Reliable, Scalable, Repeatable

Once validated, your product enters full-scale production. Fibox ensures:

  • Stable process parameters

  • Real-time monitoring and traceability

  • On-time delivery and inventory management

This ensures consistent, repeatable quality at scale — whether your production needs involve thousands or millions of components. With Fibox, you gain a manufacturing partner capable of supporting long-term growth without compromising performance or reliability.

Secondary Processes and Assemblies

Beyond injection molding, Fibox offers a wide range of value-added secondary processes and assembly services to deliver fully finished, production-ready components.

Our capabilities include:

  • Ultrasonic welding

  • Pad printing and laser marking

  • Mechanical assembly and packaging

Combining molding, finishing, assembly, and packaging under one supplier significantly reduces complexity throughout your supply chain.

High Quality Standards and Validations

We follow strict validation and quality assurance protocols to ensure every product meets the highest standards for performance, reliability, and consistency.

This includes:

  • IQ/OQ/PQ (Installation, Operational, and Performance Qualification)

  • Statistical process control (SPC)

  • Capability studies (CPK, PPK)

This is especially critical for customers in healthcare, industrial, and electronics sectors where failure is not an option.

NPI and Continuous Improvement

Our New Product Introduction (NPI) process ensures that every new part is launched with a focus on manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and scalability. Post-launch, we apply continuous improvement practices like:

  • Lean manufacturing

  • Root cause analysis

  • Process optimization

From our customers, this means lower costs, fewer defects, and faster lead times over the product’s lifecycle.
